Never Bored 2017
Do Your Own Thing is Heart n Soul’s, creative arts project for young people with learning disabilities, aged 10-25. Heart n Soul is an award-winning creative arts company and charity that believes in the talents and power of people with learning disabilities. Deptford has been their home for 30 years. This summer they have programmed a series of exhibitions and live events, taking place across Deptford which celebrate disability culture.
As part of The Big 30, Do Your Own Thing participants have been making art in the Could be Good project space throughout August.
We have been working alongside Heart n Soul's Creative Associate, Richard Phoenix with the young people helping to explore using different mediums and building a body of exciting work over the last month.
The Could be Good space will be open to the public
Friday 25th August from 4pm - 9pm
Everyone is welcome and the young people will be there to talk about their work.
